NYSSA – Family Movie Night at the Nyssa Library will be held this Thursday at 5 p.m. Stop by the library to learn the title of the movie, or just show up and be surprised!
• Saturday is the day for the Nyssa Easter Egg Hunt at South Park.
The event starts at 10:30 a.m. with breakfast, followed by the egg hunt at 11. The hunt is for children age 12 and under. Starting at 11:15 a.m., there will be a kids’ craft time.
• Easter services in Nyssa include:
New Life Christian Church, on North 3rd Street, offers a service at 10:30 a.m.
Nyssa Church of the Nazarene, at the corner of 5th and Good Avenue, has an Easter Good Friday communion service at 7 p.m. April 19. They welcome everyone to a special one-hour service with reflections on the death of Jesus Christ with a remembrance of the sacrifice of Christ through a time of corporate communion. At 9:30 a.m. Easter Sunday, there will be a complimentary breakfast prepared by the men of the church in the fellowship hall. Easter morning worship service begins at 11 a.m., and the service will feature several special musical numbers including one by the children’s choir.
Restoration Community Church, at 3rd and Emison, will hold its Easter service at 10 a.m., there will be no Sunday school that day.
