Gail Gardner Atkinson

Gail Gardner Atkinson passed away in her sleep on February 22, 2019 after a long struggle with diabetes and arthritis. Gail was born in Ontario, Oregon, January 28, 1960.
She graduated from Vale High School and BYU University.
She is survived by her husband Lloyd Atkinson; son, Shaun Doyle; mother, Valeria Gardner. two brothers Russell Gardner, and Dean Gardner (Debbi); two sisters Linda Torruellas (Jim), Denise Hershey (Scott); many aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by her father Frank and grandparents.
Funeral service was held on Friday, March 1, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Boise.

• Edna Mae Bailey, 76, of Nyssa, died Feb. 25 at a local care facility. Lienkaemper Chapel, Nyssa.
• Laurence O. “Larry” Powers, 78, of Ontario, died Feb. 26 at home. Lienkaemper Chapel, Ontario.
• Janice Marie Knapp, 79, of Ontario, died Feb. 28 at home. Lienkaemper Chapel, Ontario.
• Bettye Louise Simpson, 87, of Nyssa, died March 1 at her home. Lienkaemper Chapel, Nyssa.
• Doris Lucille Simpson, 82, of Vale, died March 2 at her home. Lienkaemper Chapel, Vale.
• Zona Ellen Sutherland, 85, of Ontario, died March 3 at a local assisted living facility. Lienkaemper Chapel, Ontario.
• Marla Egbert, 54, of Weiser, died March 4. Haren-Wood Funeral Chapel, Ontario.
• Patricia Perry, 75, of Brogan, died March 2 at home. Service is March 9t, 11 a.m., at Willowcreek School, potluck to follow.
