Construction Combine 2018, a training and hiring event, is coming up Wednesday and Thursday, March 20-21, in Ontario.
Inspired by the NFL draft, the program will allow participants to demonstrate their skills and motivation, meet with contractors and potential employers, gain training in a range of construction skills, and possibly end up with job offers.
The program will take place in the Home Depot parking lot, 311 East Lane. Trainees will learn as they build storage sheds, which will then be donated to local veterans.
Participants must at least 18 years old and be able to attend both days.
