Jordan Valley girls basketball edges Elkton in playoff win, eyes state tournament at Baker

JORDAN VALLEY – The Jordan Valley High School girls basketball players were nervous when they walked onto their home court for the second round of 1A state playoffs Saturday night against Elkton.

They had no reason to be.

The Mustangs shrugged off early-game jitters to post a 48-38 win over Elkton. 

After going undefeated during the regular season and coming in as a No. 3 seed, the Lady Mustangs were in good shape to win the game against a No. 15 team.
