Ontario names interim police chief

ONTARIO — The city of Ontario has a new interim police chief.

City Manager Adam Brown has appointed Lieutenant Jason Cooper to take the reins of the Ontario Police Department following the resignation of Chief Cal Kunz.

The city is still searching for a new police chief and will be reviewing initial applications at the end of the month.
