NYSSA — For the kindgarteners from Nyssa Elementary School, their singing program included “Jolly Old Saint Nicholas,” “Must Be Santa” and “Snowpants.”
And grade by grade, students took the stage last Thursday to entertain parents and other relatives with a holiday concert in Nyssa High School’s auditorium.
Kids couldn’t resist trying to spot Mom in the audience, waving energetically and calling out. Moms weren’t much better: “Over here!”
And no one could leave the auditorium without feeling a little better about the holidays.
The concert was organized by Allen Evans, the district’s music director, and Carol Steinmetz, who handled logistics and sound.
