NYSSA – Music abounds this time of year, and Thursday you will have the opportunity to enjoy the sounds of the season.
The Nyssa School District Music Department will present a choir concert at 7 p.m. in the Nyssa High School Auditorium.
• Waldo Agencies invites the community to a holiday open house Friday at its newly remodeled conference center, 218 Main St.
• Friday is also the deadline to notify the Nyssa Chamber of Commerce of your entry in their annual lighting and window décor contests. • The Adrian Parent Teacher Organization will hold a bazaar from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the school cafeteria. This is a great opportunity to continue your Christmas shopping and complete your gift list with handmade, one-of-a-kind items.
• As you enjoy a nice hot bowl of soup on these cold winter days, consider purchasing a few extra cans of soups and stews for the Nyssa Community Food Pantry. Warm your soul and help area residents who need a little extra food in their cupboard.
