Vale, school district at odds over water line at the new middle school

VALE – A water line at the new middle school remains shut off in a dispute between Vale city and school district officials over whether the line was properly installed.

Meeting Tuesday night, the Vale City Council outlined two ways for the district to remedy the situation. Katy Lamb, city manager, detailed those alternatives in a letter to Alisha McBride, Vale School District superintendent.

At issue is a water line loop installed around the middle school by a district contractor last spring.
