The Oregon State Police are investigating a fatal crash in Harney County that killed eight people. (The Enterprise/File).
CRANE – Eight people are dead after a head-on collision on Oregon Highway 78 near milepost 30 south of Crane.
Oregon State Police Lt. Mark Duncan said police are still investigating the crash between two vehicles that occurred Monday morning. Both vehicles, Duncan said, caught fire after the crash.
Further details, he said, would be released later.
