Families and friends gathered in Vale on Wednesday to watch the 4th of July Parade and kick off the annual Oregon Trail Days festival.
On Saturday morning, the festivities continued with a 4-on-4 volleyball tournament at Vale Middle School. Kids showed off their dogs to judges at a dog show and raced stick-horses at Wadleigh Park.
