The Malheur Enterprise is seeking an enthusiastic, efficient person to join our team as business manager. The job starts at 16 hours a week, flex over 3 to 4 days a week, at $12 an hour.

The employee will post expenses and revenue, produce monthly billing statements, track ARs, communicate with clients, and work as a team with advertising sales staff, under direction of the publisher.

Requires basic bookkeeping skills, attention to detail, familiarity with QuickBooks online, good communication skills in writing and online. On the job training provided. Eligible applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent; some community college or higher education and bookkeeping experience preferred.

City of Ontario Mayor & Councilor Seat Vacancies

The City of Ontario will have the position of Mayor and three City Council seats become vacant at the completion of the 2018 calendar year. The terms run for four (4) years, with a term of service expiring in December 2022. Each position requires residency within the Ontario city limits for a minimum of one year, voter registration in the City of Ontario, and applicant cannot be currently holding any other publicly elected position.

The City Council meets the 3rd Tuesday of every month, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall. A second meeting may be called by Council. Further, there is a Council Work Sessions the Thursday 12 days prior to meetings beginning at 12:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall.

BUS DRIVERS NEEDED

Vale School District #84 – Vale, Oregon, is seeking interested and qualifies applicants for Bus Driver positions. Drivers must have a valid Oregon drivers license, Oregon bus driver’s license, and/or be willing to complete required training to attain a bus driver’s license. Training will be provided by the district. Upon completion of training the district will require a commitment from said person for one calendar year. Positions do not provide insurance coverages or PERS benefits.
