ADRIAN – The Antelopes boast 25 seniors claiming their diplomas as the Class of 2018.
The school will hold its commencement ceremony this Sunday at 6 p.m. at the school.
The class will be led by two valedictorians, Morgan Bayes and Sundee Spellman, and one salutatorian, Shyanne Allaire.
Bayes is the daughter of Simon and Christine Bayes. She plans to attend Corban University in Salem, where she will be on the track team. She is considering education as a major, and after running track plans to take up rock climbing to continue her athletic interests.
At Adrian, she has been involved in FFA, volleyball, basketball, track and field, student council, and the glean team.
Spellman is the daughter of Jacob and Penny Spellman. She will be traveling as she serves a year as an Oregon FFA state officer, and then plans to attend a Brigham Young University school or Cal Poly. She wants to study business management and marketing.
She hopes to serve a mission for her church and combine her interest in agriculture, marketing and design in a career.
She has been involved in FFA, student council, basketball, volleyball and the glean team.
Allaire is the daughter of Milton Allaire, Diane Allaire and Renee Jackson.
She plans to attend Oregon State University at Eastern Oregon University, and major in agriculture sciences. She hopes to be a teacher or own her own cattle operation.
She was active in volleyball, basketball, track, leadership, FFA, ASB, advanced biology, and was the junior high track assistant throwing coach.
