Two Ontario girls need foster parents in Malheur County

ONTARIO – Two Ontario girls are looking for a special place to call home, and the state needs the public’s help.

The girls need to be in foster care for reasons the state can’t reveal for privacy reasons. They spent the Christmas with a family that provides temporary respite care but isn’t able to keep the girls long term.

The state Department of Human Services is asking for volunteers who have experience working with or parenting children with special needs.

The agency in a statement described the girls:

DHS has a 13-year-old girl and her 8-year-old sister who need a loving, nurturing and consistent home.
