Plenty of local holiday events slated

Fill out your gift list, grab a homemade treat, and maybe find something for yourself at one of the largest holiday bazaars in the area opening Friday at the Malheur County Fairgrounds.
At least 60 crafters, bakers and other artisans will have booths at fair-hosted event. The event grew so large this year that Fair Manager Lynelle Christiani has ordered in an extra tent to house it all.
The bazaar is among days of holiday festivities around Malheur County the next few days.
The fairgrounds bazaar opens at 10 a.m. Friday and Saturday and closes at 6 p.m. The bazaar returns the next weekend with the same hours on Friday, Dec. 8, and Saturday, Dec. 9.
Photos with Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be offered on Fridays, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 5 p . . .
