The City of Vale is accepting bids on approximately 19 acres of farm ground.
The bidder will be responsible for all aspects of the farming practices including providing the irrigation piping. The city will provide an Irrigation Pump for the parcel.
Rodent control will be the responsibility of the lease holder.
Bids are accepted on a price per acre basis.

Public Notice: Hog Creek Herd Management Area Population Management Plan – Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Vale District.
The BLM has prepared a Final Environmental Assessment (EA), Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI), and a Decision Record (DR), that authorizes the removal of excess wild horses and the need to maintain the population within appropriate management level (AML) over a 10-year time frame in order to achieve a thriving natural ecological balance (TNEB) within the Hog Creek Herd Management Area. The actions will be implemented in accordance with and subject to the guiding land use plan – the Southeastern Oregon Resource Management Plan and Final EIS.
