Separate sealed Bids for the construction of City of Nyssa Water System Improvement Project – Idaho Side, consisting of water treatment pressure filtration system for arsenic and manganese removal, water treatment building, site improvements, booster pump station, lift station, piping, improvements at existing supply wells, rehabilitation of existing water storage reservoir, and other related items as specified in the plans and contract documents will be received by Nyssa City Manager at the office of Nyssa City Hall, 301 Main Street, Nyssa, Oregon, 97913 until 2:00 pm (Local Time), June 1, 2017, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Said project will be administered by the Infrastructure Finance Authority with funding provided by both the Water/Wastewater Financing Program (WWFP) and the Oregon Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG). Project funding is also provided by the Oregon Safe Drinking Water Revolving Loan Fund Program (SDWRLF).

Petition to Vacate City of Vale Street or Alley
The Vale City Council will hold a public hearing on May 23 at 7:00 pm in Vale City Hall to consider the following action:
Brad Williams, property owner located at 579 I Street West Vale, Malheur County Oregon, Tax Lot 3400 of Kelly’s First Addition, is requesting the closure of the alley between property owners Logan and Patty Hamilton residing at and owning property located at 555 I Street West Vale, Malheur County Oregon, also known as tax lot 3300 in Kelly’s First Addition. The requested alley closure is between both properties and extends from I Street West to J Street South. This alley has never been open to the public and contains no public utilities. The two properties stated above are divided by a common fence.
